There are also several smaller pockets on the front of the bag which provide just the right amount of storage for your keys, cell phone, pens, and a laptop if you need it. If you need more storage, then the nylon webbing used on the backpack is very roomy and comfortable, and it’s easy to move the bag around to get the most space.
The overall size of the backpack is excellent, and there are plenty of small mesh pockets to stash small items such as change or keys, and a couple of large mesh pockets located on the front that are great for storing different hiking necessities, like your camera or mp3 player. The backpack is also padded well, so it will protect your laptop from any knocks or bumps you encounter along the way. Overall, the North Face Surge II laptop backpack is a great choice for anyone who is looking for a solid laptop carrying solution that provides a lot of organization and storage for the price.
